To successfully accomplish our mandate under Canada's Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research (SPOR), we must demonstrate to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research that partners with lived and living experience (PWLEs) are involved in all aspects of our research. To do this, we track their engagement and classify it according to the levels below:
Participate (or facilitate the participation of your child) in a CHILD-BRIGHT study as a subject
Attend our annual meeting
Send us a photo, story, quote, idea, suggestion, comment
Write or speak about us (on personal blogs, news item, etc.)
Answer or review a question, poll, or survey
Attend a focus group (short-term, one-time)
Speak at our events or at a research workshop
Join and contribute to a committee
Become a research partner on a project
Become a mentor
Sponsor our events
Lead a Knowledge Mobilization event
Lead a training session
Lead a research study/project
Lead policy research and design
Organize an event
Train mentors
