WHAT ARE YOU STUDYING AND/OR WHAT ARE YOUR PROFESSIONAL AMBITIONS?

I am a Grade 12 student at Prince Andrew High School, and I am going to Nova Scotia Community College in the fall to study Applied Media and Communication Arts.

WHAT ARE YOUR PASSIONS, INTERESTS, AND HOBBIES?

I like drawing, playing video games, coming up with characters and stories and world building, baking, listening to music and social justice issues.

CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH BRAIN-BASED DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES?

I was diagnosed with autism at the age of 6. My two sisters also have autism, and one of them also has mild cerebral palsy. Even though I didn’t know it at the time, I started participating in research studies about autism when I was 7.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

I have two cats and one dog. I make a delicious peanut butter cookie. I hope to someday make a graphic novel/comic book series. My favorite video game is Pokémon.
